I just discovered your podcast as I’m stitching on my mixed media project. Fascinated about your discussion regarding The Creative Circle home classes of the 80s and 90s. Having worked in the craft manufacturing industry I was curious how a multi level marketing company could supply so many diverse types of craft kits at that scale. Down the rabbit hole I went. I am still looking for definitive proof but I’m guessing that the company behind The Creative Circle was the LeeWards Creative Crafts stores. They were bought out by Michael’s in 1994 which could explain why the home sales marketing was discontinued. Really enjoying your podcasts but I need to climb out of this rabbit hole and get back to my stitching. Thanks for the great content.
